Transalveolar Extraction

Case overview : A female patient presented with complaints of retained dental root on the right anterior region.

Treatment Approach: Open method extraction as a treament plan, with triangular flap as the flap design, while maintaining the attachment of frenulum as a consideration as the located retained root is very close to the midline

Outcome : Patient returned 1 week post op, removing the sutures and evaluating the condition of the alveolar ridge.
