Pulpectomy with Stainless Steel Crown.

8-year-old pediatric patient presented with pain in the left lower back tooth region for three days, along with swelling in the lower posterior region.

Clinical examination led to a diagnosis of acute irreversible pulpitis in relation to tooth 75. The patient had a history of thumb sucking for 4 years. Pulpectomy was performed to eliminate the infection and preserve the primary tooth. A stainless-steel crown was then placed under the supervision of a pedodontist to provide full coronal coverage and restore function. The patient was subsequently referred to a pedodontist for further evaluation and management of the thumb sucking habit.
